The Brat

It’s amazing to think the a humble Honda CB350 can end up looking quite so badass, but Rex & Co at Garage Project M/C clearly had a vision when they picked this up on ebay for $1,600 Australian (I think that’s about £100)…

…and transformed it into this:

Inspired by their neighbours, Deus, the guys created a bike designed to be a practical day to day Bobber, but the level of detail that went into the build is incredible.

Full details and tons of pics are all on their own blog but meanwhile here are the end results photographed in stunning detail.

Love this clean, white simplicity

I’m not a fan of mirrors at all, but of you have to have them, do it your own way.

I look forward to seeing more from these guys in the future. I think Bazza will love it even more…

I’m confused. Rigid bobber. Where is the rigid bobber? G

Hmmm. Don’t know where that came from. Too much cut’n'paste? – or maybe those springs are fake? LOL. Anyway, cheers Gary Edited for accuracy.

It should be rigid because, without turning into one of those BikeExif comment-tossers, this thing is a pure ornament. The first time anyone sits on it the tyre will rub the mudguard. Perhaps I’m missing the point, but bikes are for riding, right? G

You’re right Gary, it should be rigid as it did exactly what you said and the rear tyre rubbed the mudguard. We prefer the look of shocks so will lock them.

Don’t worry, the bike does get ridden, I just take it easy over jumps :)
