Making a comeback to the American Flat Track schedule, on July 29, the The Calistoga Half-Mile returns as the 11th round in 2017. Nestled in the heart of Northern California wine country, the Half-Mile at Calistoga Speedway is a great destination for race fans.
In the last outing for the series at Calistoga Speedway two years ago, it was Brad The Bullet Baker on the Factory Harley-Davidson that took the GNC1 (now AFT Twins) win, with fellow Harley-Davidson riders Jared Mees Racing and Jake Johnson #5 joining him on the podium. It was an important victory for rider as it was the first of the season for the defending Grand National Champion.
In the Pro Singles class (now AFT Singles), it was Davis Fisher Racing that dominated the group for the entire 16-lap Main Event on a Honda Motorcycles & ATVs CRF540R for the TJ Burnett Farms racing team. Jarod Vanderkooi 20 and Ryan Foster finished in second and third place, respectively.
