Triumph Tribute - Matt's Trophy
By Ross Sharp - 05 Sep 18
Of the 90 riders competing at our inaugural Café Racer Cup Matt's story is perhaps the most engaging, certainly the one that tugged the heart strings the hardest. In short, Matt built this Triumph as a tribute to his late father who raced an Ariel 250 when Matt was a kid.
His story is told in full over on Return of the Café Racers who we're working with on a series of features. If you'd like to see your bike on one of the original and best custom motorcycle websites along with a video on our YouTube Channel then give us a shout, mybike@oldbikeshed.wpengine.com with ROTCR in the subject line.
That's Matt's dad on his Ariel, and many years later the Triumph ripping through the very same corner at Lydden Hill. Head to Returnofthecaferacers.com for more photos and all the detail.
