American Flat Track makes its returns to another market after a long absence – Mechanicsburg, Pa. at Williams Grove Speedway on Saturday, September 9. The last time the series raced in Mechanicsburg was 1994 when Larry Pegram won the Grand National event on a Honda. One of the few riders (if not the only) still racing in the sport’s return to Pennsylvania is Factory Harley-Davidson’s Kenny Coolbeth, Jr. The veteran will look to take home a win in his return to the circuit for the first time since his rookie year in 1994.
It’s also a welcome return to the Keystone State that also serves as one of the sport’s talent hot beds and will also be a nice homecoming for Pennsylvania-natives like Jake Johnson, Jared Mees, Shayna Texter, Cory Texter and Brandon Robinson.
With just two rounds remaining in 2017, the smooth clay Half-Mile circuit will host some exciting racing in the AFT Twins and AFT Singles championship fight.
